Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Heitor Maltez made the kick off which started today's match. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jerónimo Espírito Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Basílio Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Anjos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Miradeses FC's Manuel Anjos got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Murilo Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerónimo Espírito Santo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miradeses FC:s goal. Maurício Azeredo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerónimo Espírito Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerónimo Espírito Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Murilo Azevedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 44th minute. Murilo Azevedo in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Murilo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Miradeses FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albin Holweck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 55 played minutes Miradeses FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Azeredo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Maltez in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Jerónimo Espírito Santo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Albin Holweck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jerónimo Espírito Santo made a huge save. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miradeses FC made a substitution. Benedito Fidalgo replaced Murilo Azevedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Fidalgo in the 84th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. Benedito Fidalgo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miradeses FC. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Fidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Germany had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
