The referee ignored MAVARK - Działoszyn's protests and gave Krzysztof Pawlak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when MAVARK - Działoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Pawlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barnaba Wachna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bakos Endre got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Balazs Lajos. 14 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Dariusz Motowski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Barnaba Wachna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of the match. Barnaba Wachna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 28th minute of play. Howard Lovecraft made a great header on MAVARK - Działoszyn's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Wachna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Ruszczyk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Tymoteusz Ruszczyk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tymoteusz Ruszczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Howard Lovecraft couldn't finish the play. The MAVARK - Działoszyn players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
