Jonathan da Cunha's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when Du Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Pflüger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Du Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rodolfo Castro hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Du Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Markus Pflüger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Du Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Nascimento. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Sílvio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Markus Pflüger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play forced Du Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Markus Pflüger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Du Esporte Clube's Sílvio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Castro went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Markus Pflüger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Markus Pflüger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 56th minute. Markus Pflüger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rodolfo Castro made a great header on Du Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Markus Pflüger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 68th minute. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Costa in the 73rd minute of the match. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee showed Takacs Tibor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Du Esporte Clube were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
