Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Tutorskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clive Shilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gazanfer Canıtez in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gazanfer Canıtez's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, FC LIVERPOOL's Lam Baril ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Clive Shilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Shilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Tuitert, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Toni Adams hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 2-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Bas Tuitert elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clive Shilton. Clive Shilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Clive Shilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC LIVERPOOL's Clive Shilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 44th minute of play. In the 44th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by 柳平鹏. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's late challenge caught a FC LIVERPOOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustaaf Groeneveldt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of FC LIVERPOOL booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lam Baril went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Clive Shilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC LIVERPOOL's Clive Shilton got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes FC LIVERPOOL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Clive Shilton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Clive Shilton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clive Shilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Stenkvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clive Shilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC LIVERPOOL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89th minute Lam Baril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lam Baril in the 94th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Lam Baril put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. After a rather tough play, FC LIVERPOOL's Eskil Stenkvist got a free kick in the 97th minute.
