The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 14 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Acácio Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Peixoto in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 28th minute. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Eurico Peixoto notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Acácio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was beautiful to see Hungary's Antal Valentin in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 60th minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ibis Football Club booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Eurico Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Ibis Football Club's corner Eurico Peixoto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. When Ibis Football Club's Cazimir Sălcudeanu in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Ibis Football Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
