Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merceron United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Merceron United:s Anselmo Facchetti showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. A hard shot 8 in the game by Dinei Fernandez from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. Biagio Donadoni was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, one of Merceron United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merceron United. Anselmo Facchetti had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Facchetti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dinei Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Merceron United were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Waselenczuk took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Milosz Waselenczuk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anselmo Facchetti came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Lusi to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Dave Giacomozzi. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Facchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of play. Anselmo Facchetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 41st play minute Dinei Fernandez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fodor Daniel. 1-2. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dave Giacomozzi hit a great ball. Antal Valentin, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dinei Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Dinei Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a little luck, Merceron United's Anselmo Facchetti got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goalkeeper Anselmo Facchetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merceron United's Anselmo Facchetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Fernandez in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Dinei Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merceron United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hegedus Henrik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Anselmo Facchetti made a huge save. After some careless play in the Merceron United defense, Hegedus Henrik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Facchetti. The Merceron United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Facchetti should have stopped the shot. Anselmo Facchetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Anselmo Facchetti made a huge save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, one of Merceron United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merceron United. Merceron United:s Anselmo Facchetti showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. The Merceron United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
