The referee showed Ernest Aldulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mikkel Wulff took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rüstem Akatay. Rüstem Akatay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zühtü Tamer in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keld Paulsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hikmet Türkoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEMİREL.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hikmet Türkoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamber Çetiner hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Lars Steen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Denmark booed when DEMİREL.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Aldulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Zühtü Tamer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, DEMİREL.FC's Hikmet Türkoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Zühtü Tamer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Keld Paulsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. DEMİREL.FC's Rüstem Akatay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Sancarbey Çinuçin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Sancarbey Çinuçin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Zühtü Tamer made the kick off in the second half. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancarbey Çinuçin in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the DEMİREL.FC defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rüstem Akatay. The DEMİREL.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rüstem Akatay should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Mikkel Wulff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hikmet Türkoğlu in the 75th minute of play. The throw-in from Kamber Çetiner in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Rüstem Akatay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüstem Akatay having to interfere. Rüstem Akatay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DEMİREL.FC's Rüstem Akatay did a great save. 92 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Zühtü Tamer came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
