Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 22nd minute of play forced SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Porziano Marchitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, one of SPALLETTE RETURNS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Italy. Sigfrido Auletta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Silvestri. 0-1. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Marco Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Immobile to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Italy got a corner. SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Cosimo Laudadio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Silvestri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Porziano Marchitelli went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Luca Pellegrini with Achille Tullio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Luca Pellegrini made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Konrad De Winter immediately put the ball in play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Marco Silvestri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Pellegrini made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 72 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina.
