With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when XV de Piracicaba's Toninho Galvão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino Capixaba was slow to take the kick. During this time XV de Piracicaba's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Severino Capixaba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. 37 minutes into the match, Valdir Marquez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Fonso Zotillo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by XV de Piracicaba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Balazs Lajos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Paraíba lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lauro Souto hit a great ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
