Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Comunardo Onori's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Onori helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Mikkel Wulff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Campo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play Cimone's Comunardo Onori was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 25 played minutes Cimone got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Onori. A sloppy throw-in by Bruno Raffa in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Mikkel Wulff might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Campo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikkel Wulff ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrea Campo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes in the game Diego Bucciarelli did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dario Bassani. Cimone's Fabio Spinelli was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. The throw-in from Bruno Raffa in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Andrea Campo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Andrea Campo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cimone fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Chris Nygaard scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrea Campo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrea Campo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrea Campo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Raffa made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80thth minute of the game Bertram Svenningsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cimone's Andrea Campo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st match minute, Cimone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Bassani to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrea Campo. Andrea Campo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Andrea Campo made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Denmark's Andrea Campo threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Nygaard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cimone's Andrea Campo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olav Graversen in the 97th minute of play. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
