The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdi Demir got free with Arnout Reekers in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by ALTAY MYTHS's Çelikan Akkan. But to his dismay, Çelikan Akkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Akın, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. ALTAY MYTHS were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erhan Onal took the corner. 17 minutes into the match, ALTAY MYTHS's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Cüneyt Baba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes ALTAY MYTHS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cüneyt Baba quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the ALTAY MYTHS defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cüneyt Baba. The ALTAY MYTHS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cüneyt Baba should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakkı İzmirli got free with Arnout Reekers in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, ALTAY MYTHS's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Cüneyt Baba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cüneyt Baba having to make a save. Cüneyt Baba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play. Çelikan Akkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of play forced ALTAY MYTHS's goalkeeper Cüneyt Baba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Akın in the 39th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cüneyt Baba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to ALTAY MYTHS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hıdır Vahdet hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cüneyt Baba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Cüneyt Baba threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ALTAY MYTHS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cüneyt Baba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ALTAY MYTHS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Alpaslan in the 92nd minute of the match. Cüneyt Baba made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Alpaslan in the 95th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
