Ziya Sartık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 3rd minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziya Sartık read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziya Sartık breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute of play forced Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Ziya Sartık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Sabbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Besim Günay's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Besim Günay helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Türk Polis Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Besim Günay. Simon Sabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mürsel Oğurata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Abdulkerim Sudi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ziya Sartık narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Necaettin Sahir charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necaettin Sahir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 46 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Türk Polis Gücü's Ziya Sartık. Ziya Sartık was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Türk Polis Gücü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Türk Polis Gücü defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziya Sartık. The Türk Polis Gücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziya Sartık should have stopped the shot. In the 57th play minute Edward Vanderstraeten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ziya Sartık. 0-5. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Türk Polis Gücü:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Belgium:s goal. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Belgium. Edward Vanderstraeten stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ziya Sartık. 0-6. Ziya Sartık made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Ziya Sartık when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Siebe Michiels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Vanderstraeten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 74th playminute. A collision led to Türk Polis Gücü getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mürsel Oğurata hit a great ball. Ferdi Sus hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The Türk Polis Gücü fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Türk Polis Gücü's Gazanfer İcmal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 88 minutes into the match, Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Ziya Sartık had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziya Sartık having to interfere. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer İcmal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Türk Polis Gücü's Ziya Sartık proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Türk Polis Gücü from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ziya Sartık narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-10 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziya Sartık, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Belgium could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Türk Polis Gücü throughout the match.
