Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loco Palermo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Portugal booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Julien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Giacomo Casanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Loco Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Montesacro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Palermo couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Palermo in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juliusz Julien who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Palermo in the 19th minute of play. Loco Palermo scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giacomo Casanova was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Caetano Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Montesacro FC's Mathias Almeyda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 29th minute of play. Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. 45 minutes into the game, Anthony Del Gatto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

In the 52nd minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giacomo Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Paolo Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Montesacro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Rossi couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Palermo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Almeyda, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. The corner led Montesacro FC's Dimitar Berbatov to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Giacomo Casanova made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Bartolomeu Dias sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitar Berbatov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Rossi went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giacomo Casanova came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Montesacro FC had won after a very even match.
