After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Sant Sabo's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Molina came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cheng Le Xing got free with Arnout Reekers in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cheng Le Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheng Le Xing struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sant Sabo. 23 minutes into the match, F.C. Sant Sabo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Eugenio Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Molina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 27th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sant Sabo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yu Bin Zheng hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 38th minute. Mazuste Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 45 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gust Ennemans.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugenio Molina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Sant Sabo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C. Sant Sabo's Eugenio Molina did a great save. Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eugenio Molina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Eugenio Molina successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Molina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Sant Sabo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Molina in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. F.C. Sant Sabo's Wawrzyniec Kochanowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 89 minute of the game. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazuste Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
