Richmond FC's Brock Jalbert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Richmond FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Beat Hagenbuch 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beat Hagenbuch in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brock Jalbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by René Grenier during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 minutes, Hubert Routhier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Richmond FC and the FC Stadtclub players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Richmond FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hubert Routhier hit a great ball. After 33 minutes of play Richmond FC's René Grenier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when Richmond FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Grenier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richmond FC's Brock Jalbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Hagenbuch in the 37th minute of play. After 41 minutes Richmond FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Caron who took care of the corner kick. Brock Jalbert didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. Horatio Tobler kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanton Purcell to make the kick off. Beat Hagenbuch succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. FC Stadtclub's Horatio Tobler got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horatio Tobler took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brock Jalbert. Brock Jalbert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 11-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Beat Hagenbuch elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dorsey Crane's late challenge caught a FC Stadtclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorsey Crane helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when Richmond FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorsey Crane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brock Jalbert didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 12-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Brock Jalbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horatio Tobler, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Stadtclub fully deserved thier win.
