Elvio Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Hagenbuch in the 4th minute of play. Elvio Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horatio Tobler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Christobal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beat Hagenbuch's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Fiere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beat Hagenbuch came free, but Elvio Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Steward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuhan Tapgaç in the 16th minute of play. Fiere FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giovanni Motta in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romero Affolter in the 19th minute of play forced Fiere FC's goalkeeper Elvio Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Batuhan Tapgaç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Steward. FC Stadtclub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batuhan Tapgaç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Giovanni Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Hagenbuch in the 29th minute of the match. Arnold Steward was a little too slow when Batuhan Tapgaç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 34th minute, Beat Hagenbuch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Christobal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when Fiere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuhan Tapgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes, Romero Affolter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Stadtclub and the Fiere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romero Affolter kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Elvio Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beat Hagenbuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Giovanni Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Beat Hagenbuch took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Elvio Christobal to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute, Romero Affolter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Christobal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Beat Hagenbuch hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Beat Hagenbuch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvio Christobal. The goal made the score 2-4. Beat Hagenbuch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horatio Tobler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 played minutes Fiere FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Mancio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Hagenbuch in the 71st minute of play forced Fiere FC's goalkeeper Elvio Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Christobal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beat Hagenbuch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 71 minute of play. After some careless play in the Fiere FC defense, Romero Affolter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Christobal. The Fiere FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Christobal should have stopped the shot. Fiere FC's Denis Ermengol was substituted for Giovanni Motta. In the 85th minute Beat Hagenbuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Denis Ermengol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Stadtclub the free kick. A collision led to Fiere FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Denis Ermengol hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Yannick Walpert got a free kick in the 91st minute. Arnold Steward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batuhan Tapgaç went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. FC Stadtclub's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
