FC Stadtclub's Horatio Tobler came free and shot a quick shot against goal 4 minutes in the game, fortunately Dale Prendergast had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chiswick United's goalie prevented a goal. Horatio Tobler struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dale Prendergast didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stadtclub. After a rather tough play, Chiswick United's Gary Basterfield got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Gary Basterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Beat Hagenbuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chiswick United's Dale Prendergast was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gary Basterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horatio Tobler did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dale Prendergast 25 minutes into the match. FC Stadtclub's Arnold Steward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Basterfield in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Chiswick United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Pickford to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beat Hagenbuch got free with Dale Prendergast in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Beat Hagenbuch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dale Prendergast. Beat Hagenbuch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Stadtclub's goalkeeper Arnold Steward, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beat Hagenbuch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dale Prendergast came out and tried to block the shot, but Beat Hagenbuch slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54th play minutes Horatio Tobler shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Dale Prendergast and just under the crossbar into goal. Yannick Walpert's late challenge caught a Chiswick United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yannick Walpert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Walpert to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Pierre Hunter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiswick United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre Hunter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dale Prendergast came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Stadtclub's Horatio Tobler. But to his dismay, Horatio Tobler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Romero Affolter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Romero Affolter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Prendergast breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horatio Tobler in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Prendergast saved Chiswick United from getting behind. Dale Prendergast showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beat Hagenbuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gary Basterfield got free with Arnold Steward in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Partridge during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Hottiger hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gary Basterfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiswick United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gary Basterfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Steward breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dale Prendergast made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Hagenbuch in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Beat Hagenbuch made a precise shot to the right of Dale Prendergast. Chiswick United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. FC Stadtclub's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
