Pawel Madej stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpia Koło's Pawel Madej was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Grzegorz Ciborek in the 14 minute of the game. Pawel Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Siricio Liotta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 18th minute, one of Olimpia Koło:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olimpia Koło. Pawel Madej had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Sigfrido Auletta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pawel Madej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of the match. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pawel Madej didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpia Koło's Pawel Madej was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Adamus in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Italy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Ciborek got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Grzegorz Ciborek. In the 69th minute, Tolek Jarmulowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Gomberto Picozzi from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Pawel Madej's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Pawel Madej in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpia Koło's Pawel Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 73rd minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Madej having to interfere. The supporters of Italy booed when Olimpia Koło was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzonyo Shkodrev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Grzegorz Ciborek in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Sylwester Majorski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Majorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Olimpia Koło supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
