Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Zbigniew Zatorski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Furtado in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbigniew Zatorski in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. In the 12th minute Zbigniew Zatorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Quirino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Ascaso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Zbigniew Zatorski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbigniew Zatorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Ascaso had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zbigniew Zatorski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Adria Bielsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Davut Altınpınar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Malewicki to maneuver through the defense. Davut Altınpınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Aranda in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Arí Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Zatorski. If Mauro Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davut Altınpınar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arí Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arí Furtado couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Toledo made a kick off. Mauro Quirino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Laerte Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Piatek came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by David Aranda. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Kristofer Peck was substituted for Jan Piatek. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kristofer Peck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 66th minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Davut Altınpınar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zatorski came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davut Altınpınar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Davut Altınpınar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenk Bostancı to maneuver through the defense. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. The supporters of Spain booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenk Bostancı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Cubero might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davut Altınpınar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon Cubero ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the game, Spain's Sergio Ruiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davut Altınpınar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Carles Cherro took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Davut Altınpınar to make any attempt to save it. Spain played a much better game than Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- and deserved their victory. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
