Arnout Reekers had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Aníbal Sá's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 81st minute Aníbal Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Dante. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Dante should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Breno Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Sá went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
