Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bichiko Fuertes in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute A.C.SHARKS were awarded a corner. Israel Gaskon went to the cornerflag to take it. A hard shot 28 in the game by Iosif Bratu from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Barovero having to interfere. Wilfredo Quintun hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C.SHARKS's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Quintun's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Quintun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Wilfredo Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Faustino Quico threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Denmark booed when A.C.SHARKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Marcelito Barovero in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marcelito Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Guipuzkoa went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Barovero having to interfere. The supporters of A.C.SHARKS booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.C.SHARKS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
