In the 51st minute Jordi Paschiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tran Vrolijcx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kamiel Ingelborgh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Baldaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ad Fundum's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kees Mooiweer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kamiel Ingelborgh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
