Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of FC Ostroveni booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Terzic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Șerban Şteţ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Luca Buricea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Buricea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luca Buricea had several of the Croatia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ilija Skugor as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Silvije Santek hit a great ball. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Mauzer in the 26th minute of play. Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Ilie Enceanu scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 3-0. Adrian Hanganu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Croatia booed when FC Ostroveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Paulică didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Lung stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Bosak's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Martin Bosak sped through FC Ostroveni's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silviu Lung. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Ostroveni's Șerban Şteţ got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luca Buricea made the kick off in the second half. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Bosak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung got control of the ball when Dinko Stankovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 60th minute of play forced FC Ostroveni's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Bosak, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Moise Armanca charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Armanca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Armanca to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Luca Buricea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Buricea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 78 minutes of play FC Ostroveni's Mihai Paulică was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mihai Paulică hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Toni Mauzer came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Mauzer couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Toni Mauzer took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Silviu Lung to make any attempt to save it. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Lung was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Toni Mauzer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toni Mauzer really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Croatia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
