Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siim Kikas having to interfere. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudius Marsching in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Strelow to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Claudius Marsching came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the De Gulden Draak defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siim Kikas. The De Gulden Draak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siim Kikas should have stopped the shot. In the 21st match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Strelow to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudius Marsching in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Siim Kikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Claudius Marsching came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erwin Backes fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Gulden Draak's protests and gave Erwin Backes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, De Gulden Draak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Backes to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Peres was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Backes in the 51st minute of the match. Siim Kikas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Peres in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Siim Kikas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudius Marsching in the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Siim Kikas in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Siim Kikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Dieter Strelow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Gulden Draak and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when De Gulden Draak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieter Strelow didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Siim Kikas in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siim Kikas having to interfere. After 82 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Strelow. Major Barna took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siim Kikas. Siim Kikas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siim Kikas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than De Gulden Draak.
