Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Rolf Hamberg sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ogün Sarper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cassandros Elite Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Ogün Sarper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Ogün Sarper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Hamberg in the 29th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Ogün Sarper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rolf Hamberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41stth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Olavo Pinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 52nd minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Olavo Pinto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 60th minute Rolf Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jairo Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cassandros Elite Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Veiga couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Veiga in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavo Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 75th minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Olavo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Hamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 85th minute, Hegedus Henrik made a precise shot to the right of Olavo Pinto. Cassandros Elite Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Hamberg in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind.
