David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Högberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Jiang Fan Yun kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Högberg. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Simon Högberg. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Izydor Roman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Simon Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Simon Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Izydor Roman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wit Malewicz in the 56th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Zeng Yi Song heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Roman in the 60th minute of play. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wit Malewicz in the 67th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Netherlands's goalie and right to Jiang Fan Yun. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Netherlands's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 69 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. 70 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Dziura came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Högberg. Simon Högberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 82 minutes of play, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Tomasz Dziura made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Högberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Tomasz Dziura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Tomasz Dziura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
