Basilio Matxin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Moriste en el balotaje's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Edgardo Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of the match. Basilio Matxin in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Gai in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 66 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Firmo came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Italy's Siricio Liotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Edgardo Joseph successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Moriste en el balotaje's Edgardo Joseph got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line.
