An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play forced R.B Leipzig's goalkeeper Ian Grande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloisio Munet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Ian Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ian Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of the match. Aloisio Munet took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fodor Daniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aloisio Munet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. R.B Leipzig's attentive Jude Sandoval managed to snatch the ball when Bakos Endre made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. 31 minutes into the game, Jude Sandoval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. R.B Leipzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Kiatichai Nuntanamaneekul hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aloisio Munet went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ian Grande. That made the score 3-1 after 51 minutes of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Ian Grande managed to make a qualified save. R.B Leipzig's players were relieved. 60 minutes into the game, Bakos Endre threw the ball into play from the sideline. R.B Leipzig's Jude Sandoval quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ilkay Gündoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilkay Gündoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ilkay Gündoğan hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Hegedus Henrik made a precise shot to the right of Ian Grande. R.B Leipzig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Balazs Lajoss short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Ian Grande to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes in the game, Balazs Lajos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save R.B Leipzig from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Ian Grande in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. 76 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Ian Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Grande made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Ian Grande was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Major Barna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Major Barna really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Ian Grande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 86th minute. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ian Grande made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Simo Laht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
