In the 25th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The De Kasteelheren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Amaral in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anatoliy Gvozdevych hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fokke Meijeringh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Takacs Tibor in the 68th minute really tested Fokke Meijeringh's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 68 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Hillen. Balazs Lajos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Fokke Meijeringh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 72 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Fokke Meijeringh managed to make a qualified save. De Kasteelheren's players were relieved. After 80 minutes, Arif Ensar İsmet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hayden Hoebe's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayden Hoebe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Hayden Hoebe hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's Inácio Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inácio Amaral took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 94th minute Inácio Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
