Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Peletier made the kick off and thus started the match. Sabin Mergea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Maxime Durand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 5th minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Sabin Mergea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tobias Pilblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Chapuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Olle Sigman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Åke Hägg made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vilhelm Kvist. The supporters of France booed when Flock of Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Asklöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Flock of Eagles's Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olle Sigman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Flock of Eagles getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fritz Billström hit a great ball. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Mergea in the 33rd minute. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Pilblad having to interfere. Tobias Pilblad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Peletier's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Mergea in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The Flock of Eagles fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Flock of Eagles's Sabin Mergea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henry Robiquet made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by David Barbier. With his leg Tobias Pilblad managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when France's Frank Peletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabin Mergea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Kvist in the 61st minute of the match. Tobias Pilblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Chapuis in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Sabin Mergea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sabin Mergea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flock of Eagles's Vilhelm Kvist got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Chapuis got free with Tobias Pilblad in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sabin Mergea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flock of Eagles's Jonathan Andreasson was substituted for Åke Hägg. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tobias Pilblad made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Tobias Pilblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tobias Pilblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Pilblad made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the France players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flock of Eagles.
