Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliusz Podolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, ternana calcio fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Bosso to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Amerigo Pugliese left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ternana calcio fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alvaro Cara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes ternana calcio fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Germany's Adrian Dreifuss to fire away a dangerous shot which Aureliusz Podolski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th minute, Ennio Bosso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliusz Podolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amerigo Pugliese's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A collision led to ternana calcio fc getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Andrea De Vito hit a great ball. ternana calcio fc's Aureliusz Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 46th minute of play. Aureliusz Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 47th minute of play. After 48 minutes ternana calcio fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ternana calcio fc's Aureliusz Podolski did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo Pugliese to make the kick off. When Tolek Rywin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ternana calcio fc's protests and gave Tolek Rywin a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes ternana calcio fc got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Rywin. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Amerigo Pugliese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frank Sachs fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Frank Sachs a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Pugliese in the 72nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Amerigo Pugliese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfilogino Pasquino hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Anfilogino Pasquino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Amerigo Pugliese notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the ternana calcio fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
