Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Hulsebos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. FC Real Leonana's Casper Hulsebos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. Stamatis Pegiadis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Roy de Boer took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Roy de Boer tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Gentil to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Casper Hulsebos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Gert Lambers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Real Leonana fully deserved thier win.
