After some careless play in the Devoto club social defense, Adilson Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Indalecio. The Devoto club social fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Indalecio should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Jovens Democratas MZC's Pedro Luís Ramalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of German Indalecio. That made the score 3-1 after 16 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico de Sousa in the 21st minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper German Indalecio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Zagrodny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but German Indalecio made a huge save.
