When Kaarle Tukio fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karhulan Veikot's protests and gave Kaarle Tukio a yellow card for diving instead. Kaarle Tukio kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tuomo Puikkonen made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Kajetan Kostrzewa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaarle Tukio in the 7th minute of play forced AS Monaco FC's goalkeeper Radomil Biskupiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karhulan Veikot's Kaarle Tukio got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hieronim Kloczko made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hieronim Kloczko however managed to control. Radomil Biskupiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaarle Tukio in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to AS Monaco FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Andrzej Andrychowski hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Kaarle Tukio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karhulan Veikot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaarle Tukio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karhulan Veikot's Kaarle Tukio got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hieronim Kloczko made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrzej Andrychowski. Kajetan Kostrzewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tuomo Puikkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaarle Tukio to make the kick off. If Hemminki Kuuttinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaarle Tukio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomil Biskupiak having to make a save. After a rather tough play, AS Monaco FC's Hieronim Kloczko got a free kick in the 57th minute. Kajetan Kostrzewa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuomo Puikkonen having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Arttu Piiroinen. Iwo Czeszyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roni Vihermäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaarle Tukio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radomil Biskupiak came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaarle Tukio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute, Kajetan Kostrzewa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Karhulan Veikot's zone, Kajetan Kostrzewa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuomo Puikkonen came out of the goal and Kajetan Kostrzewa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The AS Monaco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karhulan Veikot were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
