Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ödön Végvári started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Csongor Borsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kornél Benczur fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I ll be back's protests and gave Kornél Benczur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, I ll be back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kornél Benczur to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Mathias Ludvigsen got a free kick in the 8th minute. Boldizsár Sallay hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, I ll be back's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Csongor Borsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máté Herceg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Keld Paulsen managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when I ll be back's Ödön Végvári fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. I ll be back made a substitution. Alfréd Mogyorós replaced Lénárd Bíró. In the 42nd minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ödön Végvári notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Szilárd Szaniszló with Máté Herceg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Chris Nygaard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Herceg in the 61st minute of play. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ödön Végvári, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ödön Végvári, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Szilárd Szaniszló's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szilárd Szaniszló helped the player get up and apologised. Csongor Borsos made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Bertram Svenningsen sent off a good shot on target. Ödön Végvári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csongor Borsos having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koppány Sárközi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Máté Herceg notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ödön Végvári in the 93rd minute of play. The I ll be back support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
