Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Valadares started the match with the kick off. Jardel Batista's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Keld Paulsen firmly grabbed it by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Batista. Jundiaí -DMZ- were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Valadares took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Denmark's goalie and right to Edmundo Hermes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Denmark's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Chris Nygaard scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almir Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomás Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Carlos Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Valadares. Almir Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 42nd minute of play forced Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Almir Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almir Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Batista in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes of play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Severo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Almir Severo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chris Nygaard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. If Jardel Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Elivélton Guerra made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Barış Erensoy got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Valadares in the 87th minute of the match. Elivélton Guerra got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomás Salgado. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Jundiaí -DMZ- getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Carlos Valadares hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Almir Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Denmark's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
