The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Tveito got free with Maxime Durand in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristide Deleanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sevigné Musguito's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Deleanu came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Peletier to make the kick off. If Ciro Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game William Bergström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristide Deleanu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Christian Tveito's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camille Baume received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aristide Deleanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Camille Baume slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 94th minute. The Sevigné Musguito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching France's performance. The match ended with a win for France.
