The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Gust Ennemans made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gustaaf Groeneveldt immediately put the ball in play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Angulo in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gust Ennemans. In the 44th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 50 played minutes MZetowe Mastodonty got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Carlsson. 52 minutes into the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a great long shot which passed Hudson de Carvalho straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-1. One couldn't see Gijsbert ter Kruimer behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Haszczak in the 54th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Angulo in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elías Figueroa was slow to take the kick. During this time MZetowe Mastodonty's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zebastian Carlsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 58th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Elías Figueroa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roch Haszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hudson de Carvalho. The goal made the score 1-2. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hudson de Carvalho made a huge save. Bas Tuitert lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Netherlands! Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Ciro Porto:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Haszczak in the 97th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
