Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 19 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Bratt who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in John Bratt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Alvar Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Kattvik kings got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dobrea. In the 32nd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Kattvik kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şenel Zeval in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Bratt. Alvar Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes Kattvik kings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvar Arvidsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvar Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Ahmet Nasir Akoğlu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alvar Arvidsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alvar Arvidsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 90 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvar Arvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
