In the 15th minute, KKS Magines's Miromir Cichocki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Julian Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 47th minute of play forced KKS Magines's goalkeeper Julian Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julian Trzenzalski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Julian Trzenzalski to make any attempt to save it. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Trzenzalski having to interfere. With a little luck, KKS Magines's Julian Trzenzalski got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Konstanty Kensicki got a free kick in the 86th minute. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Trzenzalski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Roman Rosen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
