In the 30th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olavo Henriques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaccheo Andolina ran back to his position shaking his head. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Remigio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Racing Club's Godofredo Remigio in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. The supporters of Italy booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Olavo Henriques however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-0 when George Orwel sped through Italy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. In the 77th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar 李渊 to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olavo Henriques, 2-1. After 82 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Uxio. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. In the 83rd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Uxio to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar 李渊 to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Racing Club's Olavo Henriques got control of the ball when Adriano Curto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Guiscardo Davide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Henriques. Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guiscardo Davide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Adriano Curto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olavo Henriques. That made the score 2-3 after 93 minutes of play. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
