An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Claude Helssen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Denmark's Theis Winther quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ted Heijer, made in the 12th minute of the game. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finidi George in the 21st minute of play. Theis Winther kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Claude Helssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseys Dreamteam 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Helssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes in the game Freek Wolf did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rolf Zuidema. Ted Heijer hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Caseys Dreamteam 2 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. With a little luck, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Cláudio Linhares got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ted Heijer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Freek Wolf in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. The supporters of Denmark booed when Caseys Dreamteam 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek Wolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Claude Helssen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Keld Paulsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caseys Dreamteam 2 reached it. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finidi George in the 88th minute of play. Ted Heijer charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ted Heijer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Caseys Dreamteam 2:s Cláudio Linhares showed great skill when he stopped Chris Nygaard:s penalty. Chris Nygaard scored 0-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Caseys Dreamteam 2 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
