After a defensive mix-up in ◄19A10►Brunsberga's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Lemiesz came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziemowit Lemiesz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Lemiesz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Bator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gust Ennemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Krzysztof Bator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Ziemowit Lemiesz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Ziemowit Lemiesz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Zbyszko Borowski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Ligas got free with Arnout Reekers in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Bator received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Krzysztof Bator slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krzysztof Bator to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Bator in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute Stasio Wykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's Ziemowit Lemiesz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ◄19A10►Brunsberga from getting a goal against them. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stasio Wykowski went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Ligas in the 72nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Ligas in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lemiesz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Bas Tuitert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ◄19A10►Brunsberga the free kick. After 81 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Wykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Krzysztof Bator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ◄19A10►Brunsberga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
