But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, 倪战 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Ritchie De Smedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylwester Sobania. Sylwester Sobania came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Casper Claes could save by the left post. When Yves Dervaux came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yves Dervaux couldn't finish the play. 倪战 kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ritchie De Smedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ritchie De Smedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Sylwester Sobania could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that 倪战 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 于强常 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Claes came out and tried to block the shot, but 于强常 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Siebe Michiels got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ritchie De Smedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ritchie De Smedt came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's Ritchie De Smedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Ritchie De Smedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Sylwester Sobania made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 67th minute 于强常 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten scored to the left of an out of position Ritchie De Smedt, making the score, 2-2. Ritchie De Smedt made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lenny Clocheret sent off a good shot on target. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 于强常, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于强常 in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 于强常 in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 81st minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's goalkeeper Ritchie De Smedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ritchie De Smedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 于强常 in the 89th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Sobania scored 3-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
