A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nomads Football Club's zone, Iordache Mihuleac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Amato came out of the goal and Iordache Mihuleac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Mihnea Harnagea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nomads Football Club's Teofilo Amato. Teofilo Amato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisc Drăgoi to make the kick off. Airidas Brazauskas had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Holger Dennon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Nomads Football Club got a corner. CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a long run with the ball, Holger Dennon did a trick in the 92nd minute in front of CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-3. An impressive performance by Nomads Football Club's Holger Dennon! If Virgil Panciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nomads Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
