Airidas Brazauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Froila in the 10th minute of the match. Airidas Brazauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Froila in the 15th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Célio Fontes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Airidas Brazauskas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute Amado Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Airidas Brazauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lobo Zornoza took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Airidas Brazauskas. Airidas Brazauskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 43rd minute, Amado Froila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Airidas Brazauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Aristide Ciompec kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, CSM ALEXANDRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Froila came free, but Airidas Brazauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The supporters of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when CSM ALEXANDRIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Mihuleac didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Célio Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Airidas Brazauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Célio Fontes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Célio Fontes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CSM ALEXANDRIA's Airidas Brazauskas did a great save. Nae Cartianu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Célio Fontes struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Airidas Brazauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE. 59 minutes into the match, CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Airidas Brazauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Froila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Drăgoi in the 60th minute of play forced CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Juvenal Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Lobo Zornoza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Airidas Brazauskas. CSM ALEXANDRIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lobo Zornoza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Nae Buteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Nae Buteanu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Juvenal Sergipano came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by CSM ALEXANDRIA's Virgil Panciu. But to his dismay, Virgil Panciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Airidas Brazauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Johnson in the 73rd minute of play. Juvenal Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Drăgoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Virgil Panciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisc Drăgoi's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, CSM ALEXANDRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Froila came free, but Airidas Brazauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Nae Buteanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Airidas Brazauskas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 87 played minutes CSM ALEXANDRIA got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Isăceanu. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. José Paulo Almeida replaced Geovânio Galvão. After 89 played minutes, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Clemente Zanussi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Airidas Brazauskas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE reached it. Placido Fernado hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With his leg Airidas Brazauskas managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Brian Johnson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. CSM ALEXANDRIA's Airidas Brazauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save CSM ALEXANDRIA from getting a goal against them.
