Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chiquito Rico got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute of the match Monitor Huáscar got a corner. Nomads Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Fallabes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Paulo Fallabes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teofilo Amato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Claudio Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostol Sokolov having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Quiroga in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apostol Sokolov saved Monitor Huáscar from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Russ Mora got free with Apostol Sokolov in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Claudio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquito Rico in the 27th minute of play. If Chiquito Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute of the match, Claudio Quiroga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apostol Sokolov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 37th minute Nomads Football Club were awarded a corner. Holger Dennon went to the cornerflag to take it. Holger Dennon made a great header on Nomads Football Club's corner, it was just that Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov managed to reach the ball for a save. Teofilo Amato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquito Rico's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The Monitor Huáscar fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Monitor Huáscar's Milian Lopez was substituted for Johnny Nyström. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Constantino Carabajo replaced Bernardinho Bala. Monitor Huáscar's Milian Lopez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Denver Lund, made in the 67th minute of the game. If Chiquito Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Monitor Huáscar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monitor Huáscar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
