After 3 played minutes Punua got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Santo. After a rather tough play, Punua's Dida Melo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Olav Suur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Panciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, CSM ALEXANDRIA's Virgil Panciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olav Suur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Olav Suur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Panciu in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Punua's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Dichiseanu came free, but Olav Suur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes CSM ALEXANDRIA got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Panciu. The Punua fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Punua's Damaso Gotzon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christian Lehoi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Punua's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Drăgoi came free, but Olav Suur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Mihuleac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Olav Suur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Harnagea in the 33rd minute of play forced Punua's goalkeeper Olav Suur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olav Suur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Panciu in the 43rd minute of the match. Sebastian Dichiseanu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Punua's Damaso Gotzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Airidas Brazauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Punua's Prudencio Bras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Airidas Brazauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Punua's Olav Suur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Punua from getting a goal against them. When Prudencio Bras came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Punua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Bras couldn't finish the play. Olav Suur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Panciu in the 60th minute of the match. If Damaso Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Punua's zone, Francisc Drăgoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olav Suur came out of the goal and Francisc Drăgoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Prudencio Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Airidas Brazauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgil Panciu during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, Punua's Prudencio Bras made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Airidas Brazauskas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 72 played minutes Punua got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Gatell. In the 74th minute, Freddy Gatell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Punua's Olav Suur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Panciu in the 76th minute of play. Airidas Brazauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Gatell in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Punua's Damaso Gotzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Airidas Brazauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Airidas Brazauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Damaso Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punua's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Gotzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Airidas Brazauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
