When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Chico de Sousa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chicão Peixoto. Chicão Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Sousa in the 11th minute of play. Dênis Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dênis Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Chico de Sousa could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Chicão Peixoto however easily saved by the left post. Chico de Sousa took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Peixoto. Chicão Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Chico de Sousa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 22nd playminute. Chicão Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Chico de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Chico de Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão Peixoto. Gato Preto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chico de Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 31stth minute of the game Chico de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Anderson Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Chico de Sousa lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Chicão Peixoto. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa. But to his dismay, Chico de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Henrique, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Horia Voitiş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chico de Sousa to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chicão Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Chicão Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Sousa in the 74th minute of the match. When Danilo Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gato Preto FC's protests and gave Danilo Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Paulo Renato Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico de Sousa scored 13-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Chico de Sousa notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto. Chicão Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute of the match Jovens Democratas MZC got a corner. Gato Preto FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horia Voitiş ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Horia Voitiş got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chicão Peixoto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chicão Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the referee ended the match the Jovens Democratas MZC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
