But to his dismay, Carlos Pereyra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kiaxi FC's Efrain Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Abraão in the 21st minute of play. Chicão Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Erdem Temirhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 25 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Coelho. Chicão Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Erdem Temirhan's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Kiaxi FC's Ahmet Erdem Temirhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Henrique in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Jerold saved Kiaxi FC from getting behind. Cauan Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Efrain Jerold made a huge save. In the 44th minute Ashrita Agarwal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashrita Agarwal in the 46th minute of play. The Gato Preto FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kiaxi FC were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Erdem Temirhan to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Ahmet Erdem Temirhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiaxi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Erdem Temirhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Erdem Temirhan got free with Chicão Peixoto in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Angelo Delfino could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross. After some careless play in the Kiaxi FC defense, Cauan Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Jerold. The Kiaxi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Jerold should have stopped the shot. Efrain Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Dênis Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
